The South African Youth Business Chamber (SAYBC) is committed to fostering anenvironment where youth entrepreneurs thrive and contribute significantly to theeconomic landscape of South Africa and the broader African continent. The Vision2026: Growing Together Strategy outlines a roadmap for SAYBC’s future, focusing onempowerment, economic transformation, and integration into regional and globalmarkets. This strategic plan will guide our work through 2026 and ensure that youthentrepreneurs are equipped with the tools, support, and resources they need tosucceed in an evolving market.

STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

Governance Optimization
To build a strong, accountable, and transparent organization, SAYBC will enhance its national governance framework. This includes capacitating provincial and regional structures, improving internal operations, andensuring accountability at all levels. The National Council will provide strategic oversight and capacity-building support to all provincial chapters to ensure that each is fullyoperational and actively recruitingnew members.

Diversity & Inclusion
SAYBC is committed to fostering a Chamber that is representative of the rich diversity of South Africa. Our strategy will promote the inclusion ofyouth from rural areas, women entrepreneurs, differently-abled youth, and marginalized groups. This ensures that economic empowerment reaches every corner of society and that no one is left behind.

City Tours
SAYBC will enhance its relevance by driving programs that create tangible social and economic impact. By linking social impact initiatives to business development, we ensure that members not only grow their enterprises but also contribute positively to society. Through regular youth engagement forums, outreach, and partnerships, we aim to be a dynamic platform that reflects the aspirations of South Africa’s young entrepreneurs.

Educational Methods & Capacity Building.
Education and skill development area the heart of SAYBC’s membersupport system. Our strategic focus is to design and implement educational programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities that equip members with business acumen, financial literacy, digital skills, and knowledge of trade policies like AfCFTA.

Membership Growth
By strategically aligning these priorities, SAYBC will create anenvironment that attracts and retainsa dynamic membership base. Ourfocus on good governance, inclusivity, social impact, education, and communication ensures that the Chamber remains relevant, impactful, and attractive to young entrepreneurs.

Communications & Relations
To achieve a membership target of 50,000, SAYBC will invest heavily incommunications, branding, and stakeholder relations. This includes building a strong digital presence, engaging the media, forging partnerships with private sector players, and becoming a recognized voice in policy discussions affecting youth businesses
